Accounts Payable Assistant

Predominantly assisting with the Purchase Ledger function to ensure optimal performance both within the Finance department and in all relevant business areas.

Key roles

• Accurately logging invoices in line with the department's Service Level Agreements.


• Responsible for handling all supplier queries in accordance with Service Level Agreements.


• Assisting in the weekly processing of payments to suppliers.


• Reconciling supplier accounts and resolving any discrepancies.


• Resolving invoice queries from the wider business, e.g. in respect of approval routes, invoice details, etc.
  
  Good general and technical education - high level of numeracy essential. Mathematics GCSE (or equivalent) grade C or above essential.


• Significant experience of dealing with suppliers to promote a good business relationship.
