Full Job Description

DSL Group supply retail solutions to the forecourt and convenience sector, providing full marketing and logistical support to thousands of locations nationwide.
We are looking for a determined and bubbly individual to join our telephone sales department to call prospective clients and carry out market research.

As a Telephone Sales Executive you'll be expected to sell the products and services of the company you work for by calling prospective clients. You may also be carrying out market research, so you won't necessarily be stuck to the phone.

Working within a team of other Sales Executives you'll be set targets and strategies by the Team Supervisor. Your day will be mostly spent calling buyers and persuading them to either purchase a product, trial a service or accept a visit from another member of the sales team.

Telesales Supervisor Responsibilities:

  • Reach out to existing and potential customers to present our product and service offering

  • Learn details about our product and service offerings

  • Address any questions or issues customers may have

  • Communicate with customers to understand their requirements and need

  • Offer solutions based on clients needs and capabilities

  • Direct prospects and leads to the sales team

  • Keep an updated customer database

  • Measure identified KPIs

  • Always strive towards meeting sales quota

  • Track and document calls and sales

  • Update client records, A Sales Executive is a sales person working in either the Business to Business or Business to Consumer markets with the responsibility to sell a specific product line or service. They plan their sales activities, lead the end-to-end sales interaction with the customer and manage their sales internally within their organisation. They will be responsible for retaining and growing a number of existing customer accounts, and generating new business by contacting prospective customers, qualifying opportunities and bringing the sales process to a mutually acceptable close.


  • A Sales Executive will develop customer relationships by establishing rapport and building trust and confidence in their own and their organisation's capabilities through demonstration of detailed product knowledge, competitor knowledge and an understanding of the market in which they operate, and by ensuring a positive customer experience.

    Minimum of GCSE grade 4/C in both Maths and English.

    Previous sales experience is prefered but not essential.

    Pro-active and determined approach.

    Ready to hit the ground running.
