Full Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Aquatics Supervisor to help oversee our aquatic facilities and ensure the safety and satisfaction of our guests. The Aquatics Supervisor will be jointly responsible for managing all aspects of our aquatics department, including staff supervision, program development, facility maintenance, administration and reception duties. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits. We actively encourage applicants of all ages and proactively assist our employees in further training.

Duties:
- Manage and supervise a team of lifeguards and swim instructors
- Develop and implement aquatic programs, including swim lessons, water fitness classes, training courses and special events
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe environment for guests
- Conduct regular inspections of the pool area to identify any hazards or maintenance needs
- Provide excellent customer service to all guests, addressing any concerns or issues promptly
- Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations and schools to promote aquatics programs
- Regularly train staff on emergency procedures, Lifeguard responsibilities and ensure all proper certifications are maintained
- Coordinate staffing schedules to ensure adequate coverage for all aquatic programs and facility hours

- Complete varied administration tasks using various systems including (but not limited to), invoicing, chemical ordering, reception, customer communication (verbal and written)

Previous experience in aquatics management or a related field
- Strong knowledge of lifeguarding techniques, water safety, and swimming instruction
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of pool maintenance and pool plant procedures and equipment operation
- Current lifeguard certification required

- Pool Plant Qualification required
- Swim Teaching (Level 1 & 2, Baby)/Aquafit qualification an advantage
