Assistant Buyer

The position is to assist head buyers and QC manager in day-to-day product development and import activities. It is a full-time position and comes with an annual salary of circa £20-23 000 annual depending on experience.

Tasks include but are not limited to updating the range plan, raising product codes on the system, generating barcodes and purchase orders, arranging samples from factories internationally, assisting in trade shows preparation, preparing product spec sheets, occasional runs for comp shopping. The company is constantly growing and every day is different so a positive, hands-on attitude to help assist the buyers is essential.

Some experience in a buying head office environment is welcome but not necessary as we appreciate hard work and a willingness to learn.

Microsoft Office and in particular Excel and PowerPoint knowledge is required.

The position is based in Knowsley, with occasional visits to our Manchester office, therefore, candidates with their transport would be preferable.

Hours 8-4pm or 9-5pm
