Full Job Description

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an Associate to join our nationally recognised Private Client team. This is a great position for someone who has a solid grounding in private client work, but who wishes to make a move to a firm who are both highly recognised and who have good quality work.

The Private Client team is a key part of the business. Many members of our team hold Society of Trusts and Estates Practitioners qualifications and are part of Solicitors for the Elderly. We act for a vast number of high net worth clients as well as acting for several private family and charitable trusts. We are experienced in helping clients to manage their domestic and international estate planning needs. We prepare and advise on Wills and trusts and deal with capital tax planning, probate, administration of estates and Court of Protection matters.

What we need you to do:

  • Advise on a range of issues across the breadth of Private Client work

  • Develop and maintain knowledge on issues within the Private Client arena, working collaboratively with colleagues across the whole team to share knowledge.

  • Develop opportunities for referral of work across the business and actively participate in business development opportunities.

    Experience of Private Client work

  • An ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and successfully manage client relationships

  • Excellent technical ability and drafting skills

  • IT proficiency

  • To demonstrate teamwork and relationship building skills

  • To have strong commercial acumen

  • To be proactive, ambitious and organised with a keen eye for detail
