Business Process Analyst

In this role you will act as a bridge between Group IT and the Samworth Group of businesses to ensure that requirements are clear, solutions are cost-effective, well designed and sustainable.,

• Pre-Project Process Analysis - Lead initial pre-project analysis by working at a detailed level to map processes, gather requirements, assess options, provide justification and broad estimates, and define and scope cost effective solutions ahead of project approval.


• Standard Business Analysis - Provide standard business analysis throughout the life cycle of projects and smaller changes in order to ensure the quality of solution, using standard techniques for detailed requirements gathering, business process modelling, data analysis and functional solution design


• The BPA is accountable for the quality of GroupIT business solutions and ensuring that they meet the needs of the business.


• Business Process Analysis: Investigates, documents, and analyses current processes; identify the business areas undertaking and supporting those processes (RACI). Identifies cross-functional activities and information flow between areas.


• Business Process Redesign: Identifies alternatives, assesses feasibility, recommends to, and obtains stakeholder buy-in from on future business process designs.

• Minimum 2 years' experience of working as a Business Process Analyst in a demanding business environment.


• Experience of ERP systems desirable


• Experience of working in manufacturing sector an advantage


• Experience across Financial and Procurement functions desirable


• BCS Cert. in Business Analysis and skilled in use of Visio and/or Miro and standard BPM techniques
