Carer / Personal Assistant (Direct Payments)

Looking for an enthusiastic female support worker, to support and assist a young lady who is visually impaired with learning difficulties.
Assisting with tasks around the home
Access to their own car, to be able to take her out into the community, assessing activities she enjoys.
To encourage and support her confidence to engage in social activities within the community.
Someone who takes an interest and enjoys being around horses and dogs.

Female support who is reliable, and a good time keeper.
Must be professional and responsible
To be supportive and have a caring nature
Good communication skills
Good sense of humour
Making sure the safety of the young lady at all times not just within the home but also while out in the community.

5.6 weeks holiday per year (pro rata).
Sick pay at SSP rate if earning £120.00 or more per week.
Training provided to support you in your role.
