Caretaker / Maintenance

To provide efficient and effective caretaking support to any Hamara premises including ensuring the security and general appearance of the buildings and surrounding areas are maintained in accordance with Hamara HLC required standards.

To undertake maintenance duties as directed by the Operations Manager and or CEO as outlined as below. The post holders will be responsible for including ensuring that the security and general appearance of the buildings and surrounding areas are maintained in accordance with Hamara HLC required standards.

The Maintenance/Caretaker part of the role will include locking up and opening the Hamara premises, maintaining a key register, attending the building out of hours to deal with emergency situations as per the rota and attending and accompanying where necessary personnel visiting the site such as Contractors.

A Handy Person element of the role will include porterage tasks such as setting up and clearing away furniture, painting and decorating as required and first line maintenance of fixtures and fittings.
