Class 1 Driver

Restore Datashred are looking for a Secure Collections Class 1 Driver to join our team in South Kirkby As a vital part of our operation, you will play a key role in ensuring the timely and safe collection and delivery of goods. As a key ambassador for Datashred you will maintain a professional and positive attitude delivering the highest level of customer service at all times., As a secure collections operative you will collect items from sites ready for destruction and ensure that all jobs are completed on time, correctly and in an efficient manner and relevant paperwork is completed as required. You will safeguard confidential information and materials maintaining its security at all times and ensure it is unloaded ready for secure destruction., To ensure the material is unloaded ready for destruction when returning to the depot.
Collecting pallets from our Records Management business unit to bring back to site.
To drive vehicles that you are licensed to drive and to comply with all Driver Regulations.
To ensure that all appropriate and required equipment to complete your daily duties is loaded onto the vehicle before leaving depot.
To go through and understand all job sheets before leaving the depot.
To complete all jobs on time and correctly, solo or with the driver's assistant.
To ensure all paperwork is completed for each job, with items collected recorded and signed for by the client, with a copy handed in at the end of shift.
To ensure the material is safe and secure at all times.

Class 1 Licence is required
Previous experience as a Class 1 driver is required for this position
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Good customer service skills
Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times.

Hours: 45 (Monday - Friday 6:00am - 4:00pm, some flexibility will also be required)

Salary:£33,887.33 Per Annum + Additional Daily Driver Payment
