Cleaner

We are seeking to recruit a cleaner who is enthusiastic about creating and maintaining safe and nurturing environments for children and young people, focusing on high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and tidiness., Cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, toilets, and kitchen areas to high standards.

Clean and disinfect kitchen areas, including countertops, sinks, and appliances.

Restock cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies are running low.

Ensuring cleanliness and tidiness throughout the premises.

Adhering to health and safety regulations and infection/prevention control procedures.

Working closely with the management and care team to maintain a welcoming and safe environment for children and young people.

Be professional and welcoming at all times to all visitors of Pear Tree Projects.

Prior experience in cleaning roles preferred but not essential.

Thorough attention to detail and a proactive approach to cleaning tasks.

Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Compassionate and understanding personality when working in our homes with vulnerable children and young people.

Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check with Children's Barred List Check.

Candidates must hold a full UK driving licence and will be required to use their vehicle for work purposes.

£11.44 - £12.00 an hour - Permanent, Part-time, Full-time, Salary dependant on experience.
