Full Job Description

As a Company Secretarial Assistant, you'll be at the heart of our operations, providing essential co sec services to our diverse portfolio of corporate clients - both nationally and internationally. Your responsibilities span a wide range of crucial governance and compliance tasks.

For our Annual Service Clients, you'll be at the helm of maintaining statutory registers, ensuring Companies House compliance and navigating the intricate world of filings like the confirmation statement. Your role extends beyond paperwork; you'll support seamless corporate transactions and keep everyone on track with timely reminders, working closely with legal experts when needed. But that's just the beginning!

You'll dive into company secretarial matters, assist with incorporations, and ensure we're always on top of legal obligations. Plus, you'll spearhead audit responses and provide expert guidance on all things Companies House - all the more important given the new regime introduced by the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act 2023. With your sharp eye for compliance checks and knack for efficient document filing, you'll be the backbone of our governance and compliance operations, driving improvement and staying ahead of industry trends and regulations.

We're looking for someone with the following skills and experience:

  • Strong client-facing relationship management skills and very good communication skills.

  • High level of literacy and attention to detail.

  • Able to work to deadlines in a busy environment.

  • Strong organisational skills and able to use own initiative.

  • Good understanding of Companies House filings and requirements.

  • Experience of using Diligent Entities (formerly Blueprint OneWorld) is an advantage but not essential.

  • Grounding of core company secretarial experience preferred Chartered Governance Qualifying Scheme qualification not required.
