Full Job Description

The Compliance Auditor is responsible for scheduling and co-ordinating the completion of the audits of FEI Foods operational management systems. Ensuring its operations and employees comply with Ethical, Environmental, Health and Safety Food Safety & Quality policies and processes.

Responsibilities

To manage FEI Foods internal audit system for the Llantrisant site.

o Generate risk assessment and schedule based on BRCGS and other customer requirements, working with the Swansea compliance auditor to achieve this.

o Manage assigning internal audits among the authorised people on site for audit completion.

o Actively promote a food safety and health and safety culture, ensuring all requirements are met.

o Conduct the Internal Audits assigned to the compliance auditor in line with the schedule across all areas.

o Raise non-conformities with relevant area owners and be grading issues on risk working with relevant department owners to agree close out methods and dates.

o Efficiently manage and adhere to the site Quality Management System (QMS) audit schedule. Organise and lead close-out meetings, monitor audit closure progress, and verify the completion of necessary actions.

o Be the business SME on BRCGS and other customer requirements providing guidance on improvements in compliance and best practice.

o To integrate changes to relevant standards into audit protocols.

o Complete reports and monthly update trend analysis on the performance of the sites QMS.

o Provide support to team members in audit closure processes and assist the Technical Team in BRCGS and customer audits.

o Provide support in the completion of the Llantrisant audits, where required.

o Be a key member of the Technical Department and assist with general technical issues and enquiries.

Graduate in food technology or similar.

HACCP Level 3/4.

Advanced Food Hygiene.

Lead Auditor qualification.
