Full Job Description
- Generate sales among client accounts, including upselling and cross-selling
- Ability to travel both inside and outside of the UK when required
- Operate as the point of contact for assigned customers
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with accounts
- Make sure clients receive requested products and services in a timely fashion
- Communicates client needs and demands to the company
- Forecasts and tracks client account metrics
- Manage projects within client relationships, working to carry out client goals while meeting company goals
- Identifies opportunities to grow business with existing clients
- Coordinate with staff members working on the same account to ensure consistent service
- Collaborates with sales team to reach prospective clients
- Service multiple clients concurrently, often meeting deadlines
- Keep records of client transactions
- Overseeing and supervising employees and all activities of the purchasing department.
- Preparing plans for the purchase of equipment, services, and supplies
- Following and enforcing the company's procurement policies and procedures
- Reviewing, comparing, analysing, and approving products and services to be purchased
- Managing inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records
- Maintaining and updating supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc.
- New products (NPD), promotions, merchandising and packaging.
- Conduct category reviews with customers looking at market trends, consumer trends and food trends
- Maintaining good supplier relations and negotiating contracts
- Researching and evaluating prospective suppliers
- Preparing budgets, cost analyses, and reports
- Ad-hoc tasks as required
Proven 2+ years within the same/similar role - Professional attitude and appearance
- Proficient IT competencies, including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Power Point
- Capable of delivering reports using excel
- Fluent English language, both verbal and written
- Willingness to enhance induvial knowledge in areas of development
