Full Job Description

  • Generate sales among client accounts, including upselling and cross-selling

  • Ability to travel both inside and outside of the UK when required

  • Operate as the point of contact for assigned customers

  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with accounts

  • Make sure clients receive requested products and services in a timely fashion

  • Communicates client needs and demands to the company

  • Forecasts and tracks client account metrics

  • Manage projects within client relationships, working to carry out client goals while meeting company goals

  • Identifies opportunities to grow business with existing clients

  • Coordinate with staff members working on the same account to ensure consistent service

  • Collaborates with sales team to reach prospective clients

  • Service multiple clients concurrently, often meeting deadlines

  • Keep records of client transactions

  • Overseeing and supervising employees and all activities of the purchasing department.

  • Preparing plans for the purchase of equipment, services, and supplies

  • Following and enforcing the company's procurement policies and procedures

  • Reviewing, comparing, analysing, and approving products and services to be purchased

  • Managing inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records

  • Maintaining and updating supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc.

  • New products (NPD), promotions, merchandising and packaging.

  • Conduct category reviews with customers looking at market trends, consumer trends and food trends

  • Maintaining good supplier relations and negotiating contracts

  • Researching and evaluating prospective suppliers

  • Preparing budgets, cost analyses, and reports

  • Ad-hoc tasks as required

    Proven 2+ years within the same/similar role

  • Professional attitude and appearance

  • Proficient IT competencies, including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Power Point

  • Capable of delivering reports using excel

  • Fluent English language, both verbal and written

  • Willingness to enhance induvial knowledge in areas of development
