Full Job Description
- Driving our company vans and collecting and returning dogs to client's homes
- Effectively managing dog to dog interactions
- Ensuring all welfare needs are surpassed with regular enrichment and lots of play
- Cleaning all equipment and undertaking regular maintenance of the daycare facility
- Keeping all paperwork up to date
- Attending training courses to continue professional development.
Would you like to work with dogs? We have a rare opportunity to join our small team working in a super fun dog filled environment. We're looking for one part time Daycare Assistant working 3 days per week from 7.50am to 5pm. - Full clean UK driving license for at least 5 years
- Experience of dogs and a solid understanding of dog behaviour and modern reward based training techniques
- Competence driving a van
- Willing and able to undertake physically demanding work
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to further professional development in the form of training courses
- Clear DBS ( criminal record ) check
- Ability to perform heavy lifting if needed
- Strong customer service skills
- Passion for animal welfare and well-being
- Previous experience in animal care is preferred
- Level 3 Animal Care Qualification / Willingness to train, Do you have a relevant qualification in animal care?
- Dog job: 1 year (preferred)
- Full UK Manual Drivers License for at least 5 years? (required)

Successful candidates should love dogs, enjoy working outside, have a good sense of humour, work well within a small team and be excellent time keepers. They MUST be located very close to Crystal Palace, Beckenham or West Wickham as they will need to collect the work vehicle from Elmers End, Beckenham each morning with enough time to reach their first dog by 7:50am. Applicants from outside of these areas will not be considered.
