Domestic Assistant

Hours are 7.30 - 14.30 worked over a 2 week rota -Week 1 -Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday Week 2 - Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

• To ensure that safety regulations and safety procedures are followed accordingly


• To ensure the correct and economical use of equipment and materials


• To monitor and maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the home and report any difficulties to the Manager


• To maintain equipment and materials directly concerned with cleaning operations to meet Health & Safety Regulations


• To work as part of a team giving assistance where necessary


• To attend and participate in meetings with the Manager


• To work in accordance with policies and procedures to achieve quality


• Participate in appropriate training, staff development and supervisions
  
  Transferrable DBS Certificate is preferable but not essential


• More than 1 year's experience working in a care home environment is preferable but not essential


• More than 1 year's experience working as a domestic is essential


• You MUST be able to demonstrate that you have the skills and experience to perform well in this role.


• To possess good manners and a flexible approach


• Ability to communicate on all levels, domestic cleaning: 1 year (required)


• Care home: 1 year (preferred)


Licence/Certification:
