Full Job Description

Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum to promote the physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development of children
- Create a safe and inclusive learning environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and independence
- Observe and assess children's progress.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure open communication and involvement in their child's learning journey
- Maintain accurate records of children's development, behavior, and any incidents or accidents that occur
- Foster positive relationships with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to support the holistic development of each child
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations to ensure the well-being of children at all times

Elm Road Pre-School are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Pre-School assistant for our small committee led village Pre-School.

Level 3 qualification in Early Years is desirable but not essential.

We are looking for a passionate and caring assistant to work within a small team to deliver exciting learning opportunities for children ages 2 - 4 years old., Degree or diploma in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- Proven experience working with young children in a nursery or childcare setting
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Strong leadership abilities to guide and inspire fellow educators
- Proficiency in English (additional language skills are a plus)
