Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Lead

This post will involve working with key internal and external partners to develop and deliver a co-ordinated and effective approach to EVs and EV charge points in Bath & North East Somerset, securing the resources and budget required, and managing consultants and contractors to ensure that all programmes are designed and delivered effectively and efficiently.

Your main place of work will be the award-winning, modern Civic Centre in Keynsham, halfway between Bath and Bristol, easily accessible by public transport, with a train station 5 minutes' walk away.

About You

You will be the lead officer identifying sites within our district that will bring the most benefit to our communities, working with the wider WECA team to push forward at pace the infrastructure delivery which allows more drivers to make the switch to electric vehicles.

£185 million of LEVI chargepoint funding has been awarded to local authorities across England and we have secured £6.6 million of it to create a regional charge point network with the West of England Combined Authority named as WESTCharge, aiming to add over 1,000 new chargers., About Bath & North East Somerset Council.
