Full Job Description

  • Process and manage supplier invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payments

  • Assist with accounts receivable tasks, including invoicing and monitoring customer payments

  • Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies

  • Maintain accurate financial records and files

  • Provide administrative support to the finance team, including data entry and filing

  • Continuously look for ways to improve processes and efficiency within the finance department

    We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Finance Administrator to join our growing finance team. The ideal candidate will have some experience in general accounting tasks and a willingness to learn and grow within the role. Proficiency in Xero accounting software is preferred but not essential for the right candidate., 1-2 years of experience in an accounts assistant role or similar

  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and processes

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Good organisational and time management skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel

  • Experience with Xero accounting software is a plus but not essential

  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn and take on new challenges, 1-2 years of experience in a general accounting role, with exposure to accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger

  • Proven ability to maintain accurate financial records and documentation

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to improving processes

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other departments

  • Eager to learn and develop new skills within a supportive team environment

  • Proficiency in Xero accounting software or a similar cloud-based accounting system

  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive financial information with discretion


  • Not Suitable For:
  • Candidates with no prior experience in accounting or a related field

  • Those who are not comfortable working with numbers and financial data

  • Individuals who lack attention to detail or have a history of making frequent errors

  • Those who are unwilling to learn new systems and processes

  • Candidates who prefer a highly structured work environment with little room for growth or development, 1-2 years of experience in an accounts assistant role or similar
