Full Job Description

Supporting the Finance Manager in all aspects of the Department as required

  • Matching, checking and coding invoices

  • Preparing customer invoices

  • Reconcile bank statements

  • Making payments via BACS

  • Processing staff expenses

  • Setting up of new supplier/customer accounts and maintaining existing account details

  • Reconciliation of supplier and customer statements

  • Managing petty cash

  • Being first point of contact for all relevant enquiries

  • Data entry

  • Maintaining strong relationships with customers and suppliers

  • Reviewing systems and processes and making improvements where necessary

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Finance Assistant to join our team. The Finance Assistant will support the company in various administrative tasks and ensure the smooth operation of financial activities within the organization., Strong administration skills including attention to detail

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Experienced and comfortable in using technology and systems, specifically Microsoft Office

  • Experience of Xero (preferred)

  • Outgoing and approachable with a 'can do' attitude

  • Good organisational skills

  • General office duties.

  • Finance Department administration, including answering the phone, taking messages, filing and post. This is not exhaustive and can be added to., Proven experience as a Finance Assistant or similar role

  • - Proficient in using Xero, Excel and Mintsoft
    - Strong attention to detail and accuracy
    - Excellent organizational and time management skills
    - Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
    - Knowledge of basic accounting principles and procedures
    - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
