Full Job Description
- Evaluate and prepare floors for installation, including cleaning, leveling, and removal of the old flooring as necessary.
- Accurately measure, cut, and lay down flooring materials such as laminate, vinyl, and carpet.
- Ensure that all flooring is secured appropriately and apply any necessary finishes or sealants.
- Ensure all installations meet the high standards of Carpet World Cardiff Ltd. This includes meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to unparalleled craftsmanship.
- Professionally interact with customers, answering any questions and ensuring they are satisfied with the work.
- Properly maintain and clean installation tools and equipment.
- Work closely with the sales and customer service teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Regularly attend training sessions and workshops to stay updated with the latest installation techniques and flooring materials
Previous experience in flooring installation, preferably in laminate, vinyl, or carpet. - Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and craftsmanship.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with using various flooring tools and equipment.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and carry heavy materials.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach.
