Full Job Description

We are looking for a Head Chef, who is able to work together with our existing team and show our customers a great experience in dining. This is not a live-in position and Hours of work do not require any split shifts over 5 days.

As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food production and ensuring the highest quality culinary offerings. This is a leadership role that requires strong culinary skills, team management abilities, and a passion for creating exceptional dining experiences.

We have a very popular Breakfast and Lunchtime trade. We are extending our offering to just Three Evenings a week initially. There is no requirement to work Christmas Day, Boxing Day or New Years Day.,

  • Ensuring quality and consistency of the food

  • Day to day running of a busy kitchen

  • Purchasing and stock control

  • Rota planning

  • Maintaining the high 5 Food Safety standards already in place


  • Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the kitchen team, including chefs and kitchen staff

  • Plan and develop menus that are innovative, diverse, and aligned with customer preferences

  • Oversee food preparation, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards

  • Monitor food production processes to maintain consistency and quality

  • Collaborate with suppliers to source high-quality ingredients and products

  • Train and mentor kitchen staff on proper food handling techniques and safety protocols

  • Manage inventory levels and control costs to meet budgetary goals

  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment

  • Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques or ingredients into menu offerings

    We are looking for an enthusiastic and well-organised Head Chef, who has experience in producing quality food and developing a strong kitchen team., Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team

  • Extensive knowledge of food production techniques and culinary trends

  • Excellent cooking skills with a focus on taste, presentation, and quality

  • Proven experience in menu planning, recipe development, and cost control

  • Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with staff, suppliers, and customers

  • Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail


  • Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Head Chef or in a similar leadership role within the hospitality or restaurant industry

  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices

  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays, Chef: 2 years (required)


  • Licence/Certification:
  • Driving Licence (preferred)
