Full Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join our Health & Wellbeing team at Bishop Auckland Hospital contributing to the successful delivery of objectives set out in the associated action plans linked to health and wellbeing and staff engagement which are designed to create a healthy, motivated and engaged workforce., As part of facilitating our health, wellbeing and engagement offer, this role will involve providing administrative support, including basic data analysis, audits, surveys, event and meeting management and involvement in media campaign planning.

This role will also assist in supporting, coordinating, organising, facilitating the TRiM programme and other possible activities in relation to the wellbeing and engagement of our staff.

Working alongside the Health & Wellbeing Advisor, the postholder will help ensure that a flexible and proactive health, wellbeing and engagement function is provided.

The postholder will assist in the organisation of a range of activities aimed at ensuring our workforce are able to operate effectively by adopting and maintaining a fit and healthy mental and physical life both at work and in their personal lives.

To contribute to the positive engagement of our staff through the provision of a comprehensive health, wellbeing and engagement offer of TRiM.

We provide hospital services from two acute sites - Darlington Memorial Hospital and University Hospital of North Durham. We have a centre for planned care in Bishop Auckland and provide care from community hospitals in Chester-le-Street, Shotley Bridge, Barnard Castle, Sedgefield and Weardale as well as over 80 other community based settings and providing care in patients' homes.
