Holiday Club practitioner

This position is for a holiday club practitioner. Caring for children of primary school age.from Reception class to year 6. This position is for 30 or 40 hours per week, full 10 hour day for 7.30-6pm preferable so 3 or 4 days per week .

Non term time, for 12 weeks of the year ONLY. Would suit someone who is in further education and holds a full and relevant level 2 qualification in early years.

Duties:
- Supervise and engage with children in a holiday club setting
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and games
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the club
- Maintain a clean and organized environment for the children
- Communicate effectively with parents and provide updates on their child's day
- Assist with snack and meal times as needed

to hold a full and relevant level 2 qualification in childcare
- Previous experience working with children in a childcare or similar setting
- Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with other staff members
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain a positive and nurturing environment for children
