Full Job Description

Position Overview: As the HR Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources operations, including but not limited to recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits, and HR policy implementation. You will work closely with leadership to align HR strategies with organisational goals and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.,

  • Manage core HR functions including payroll, employee relations, HR administration, learning and development, recruitment, and employee engagement.

  • Lead recruitment efforts, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new talent.

  • Provide coaching and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters.

  • Manage employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to resolve conflicts and promote a positive work environment.

  • Oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and career development planning.

  • Provide guidance and support to HR team, ensuring compliance with professional standards and offering training as needed.

  • Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures in compliance with employment law and company standards.

  • Enhance employee engagement and welfare activities, addressing HR trends and directing resources as needed.

  • Assist the Executive Team in monitoring employee performance and advising on company policies.

  • Cultivate effective relationships to encourage retention and represent team perspective in decision-making. Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business objectives.

  • Exemplify company values and champion leadership behaviour framework.

    An experienced generalist HR professional, ideally within the transport sector.

  • CIPD qualified or equivalent experience.

  • An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to build trust and influence key stakeholders.

  • Ability to offer pragmatic and commercial advice, providing a proactive and flexible approach.

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office.

  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.

  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

  • Proven leadership and decision-making abilities.


  • Position is Monday - Friday - 9am til 5pm. No weekends.
