Full Job Description

We are now looking for a HR/Training Coordinator to join our busy office. The role is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday. The successful candidate will be part of our shift system, covering the hours from 8am-5:00pm.

Responsibilities include

HR

· Inducting new employees, and preparing new employee documentation

· New starter and leavers administration

· Updating and maintaining HR records

· Arranging travel and booking accommodation

· Drafting correspondence as and when required

· HR administration; disciplinaries and appraisals

· Keeping up to date with HR legislation,

Training

· Identify training requirements for all employees

· Sourcing training providers

· Liaise with managers and schedule training

· Monitor and update database for expiring qualifications

General Administration

· Check vehicle weight on and off site, issuing PPE and reception cover

· Processing internal hire sheets

· Answering the telephone

· CIPD qualified or working towards a CIPD qualification is desirable

· 2 years HR experience required

· Experience working in a busy office environment

· Excellent attention to detail

· Proactive approach to carrying out tasks

· Ability to use own initiative

· Workplace Pension schemes experience desirable

· Payroll processing experience desirable

· Salary depending on experience and qualifications

· 28 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays

· Enrolment in company pension scheme

· Holiday entitlement increase with length of service
