Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Installations & Operations Supervisor to join us at Stafford UPVC Windows. Supporting the Installation & Operations Manager to progress all sold contracts to project completion, this is a pivotal role in the business, communicating directly with customers, sub-contractors and various internal departments to provide excellent customer service. Duties include:

Installations

Support and deputise for the Installation & Operation Manager to:

· Progress all installation projects via the Supply and Fit process providing timely and organised communication with customers to keep them abreast of their project progression

·Issue post survey communications to the customer to advise of the proposed week commencing date for the project

· Prepare installation packs to present, including Fitters Minutes, in an advance of the project start date

· Confirm that all projects are on track; communicating any delays to the customer and relevant business area

· Liaise with sub-contractors and external suppliers to progress each project as required, ensuring relevant materials and skips are ordered for all building regulation projects

· At all stages of the project, ensure the CRM database is updated to reflect the progress of the installation, including amendments with additional costs

· Support Installs Manager to gain interim payments from customers as well as outstanding payments on completion of projects

· Deputise in the office when the Installation & Operation Manager is performing off site inspections

Wage preparation & Training

· Manage in all fitters time sheets and fitters minutes, weekly

· Perform initial checks in the fitters wage preparation in comparing time sheets to fitting minutes before presentation to the Installation & Operation Manager, for final sign off

· Liaise with HR Supervisor to plan all training requirements for fitters and WH teams

  • Must have excellent communication and organisational skills

  • Must be experienced in the use of Microsoft Office and updating of CRM database

  • Must have a keen eye for detail

  • Will be able to liaise with clients in a polite and respectful manner

  • Will have the ability to work in a team and on own initiative

  • Must be honest, reliable and punctual


  • Experience in a busy project / contract delivery role is preferred, but not essential.

    In-house on the job training will be provided and on-line training for all aspects of health and safety aspects as required.
