As a Claims Handler, you will play a crucial role in our team by managing claims processes efficiently and effectively. You will be responsible for assessing, investigating, and resolving claims promptly while maintaining the highest standards of customer service.

Where you fit in:

As our Claims Handler you will:

  • Evaluate and process claims in accordance with company policies and procedures.


  • Conduct thorough investigations to determine the validity and extent of claims.

  • Communicate with claimants, clients, and other relevant parties to gather necessary information.

  • Negotiate settlements and handle disputes professionally and tactfully.

  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of claims activities.

    Previous experience in claims handling or a related field.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Proficiency in relevant computer applications and software.

  • Experience of working with Figtree system, Ice, Sap and Odyssey

  • Be able to work under pressure

  • £27,720 - £34,427 a year - Full-time, Salary & Benefits(5a): £27,720 - £34,427 per annum dependant on experience, annual bonus, attractive pension scheme (Up to 10% company contribution), life assurance cover of 4 times pensionable salary and 25 days annual leave, bank holidays plus a wellness day and development opportunities in line with the Claims Handler progression plan.
