Interior Plant Maintenance Technician (Croydon Area)

This role focuses on looking after our plants in client offices in the Croydon area. Our technicians provide excellent customer service and are knowledgeable about the maintenance and care of office plants.

This is an independent role which involves taking ownership for plant maintenance at several client sites, on a 3 week rota. This may involve driving between towns and cities on a regular basis. Technicians are part of a regional team of like-minded plant specialists who meet regularly both online and in person.

• Maintain to a high standard internal plant displays at a number of client sites every day


• Provide excellent customer service, including completing site reports and maintaining accurate data in our company systems


• Work with your line manager and scheduler to ensure all rounds are completed efficiently and accurately


• Work safely and in line with all risk assessments and method statements

• Comfortable working independently but able to share knowledge and information with the wider team


• Able to orient yourself in large office buildings


• Some specialist horticultural knowledge (but full training will be provided)


• Physically able to use watering cans, stepladders, and stools as part of the daily job



• Experience working in a service industry


• Experience working across multiple sites is desirable


• Experience driving in cities


• Experience in planting or horticulture is desirable



• MS Outlook and Teams - good knowledge


• Driving apps - good knowledge


• ERP - some knowledge is desirable (but full training will be provided)


• Comfortable using apps on mobile devices (mobile phones or tablets)


Induction training, H&S training, horticultural knowledge and processes training, driver training provided

Role is based at client sites so you will need to have a driving licence to use a Company van.
