Full Job Description

Working independently, you'll actively build relationships with your book of international clients. You'll have access to a support team to help you, although you'll have no direct line management responsibilities.

You'll support them with their day-to-day HR needs, covering a lot of different areas, such as international health & welfare plans (life, accident, short and long-term disability, workers compensation, medical, dental, vision and EAP), retirement plans, leaves, incentives, perquisites and other HR-related issues.

You'll also Identify, research, and coordinate internal/external resources to resolve a wide range of international HR-related issues.

You'll make an impact by;

  • Presenting strategic initiatives to Area Vice President for consideration and delivering recommended solutions

  • Coordinating the activities of local brokers in obtaining insurance quotations for plans in locations around the world

  • Developing recommendations to modify existing local benefit plans, implement new plans, and design benefits packages for start-up operations

  • Managing multiple projects, ensuring the quality and timeliness of client deliverables are met

  • Collaborating with other team members to recommend solutions/provide technical reports on various client issues

  • Keeping abreast of all relevant laws and emerging regulations and trends

  • Supporting key projects and may lead smaller projects

    Required

  • Client consulting & international benefits experience

  • The ability to take complex information and explain it in simple terms to people at all levels of seniority

  • Client account management experience

  • Ability to successfully manage projects to time and budget

  • Have some experience in a sector of the insurance industry

  • Able to handle confidential information with maximum discretion


  • It would be great if you also had (but certainly not required)
  • Experience in Global Employee Benefits Industry desired

  • Solid business acumen

  • Experience with implementing retirement/pension programs a plus

  • Financial Analyst or Actuarial experience desirable

  • Exposure to Finance, Tax, and Legal

  • Fluency in foreign languages
