Full Job Description

  • Working closely with the IT Support and Managed Service Provider teams to triage all infrastructure tickets and escalate as required

  • Security first approach to all systems, working closely and in a collaborative way with the InfoSec function to ensure that all systems and changes have security at the forefront

  • Work with the IT Support and Managed Service Provider teams to create, manage and ensure all KPI's are met including but not limited to system availability uptime, regular maintenance scheduling and resolution of support tickets

  • Defining all the services and systems the teams are responsible for in a Service Catalog

  • Actively seek out opportunities for enhancement and collaborate across teams to support the Continuous Improvement Programme, elevating service performance, reducing costs, minimising technical debt, and strengthening security measures

  • Develop and refine the IT Operations service, aligning it with strategic visions and future operational enhancements.

  • Set up, configure, and support all internal IT hardware and business systems and infrastructure

  • Championing best practice use of our IT systems

  • Provide day-to-day IT support, guidance and training to the Clue team

  • + Ensure optimal performance and reliability of all hardware systems, including servers, workstations, and networking equipment
  • Ensure compliance with IT security policies and practices in the deployment and management of hardware

  • Support with maintaining ISO27001

  • + Maintain vendor relationships and manage service agreements to ensure quality and cost-efficiency
  • Championing our adoption of appropriate operational AI to encourage efficient working Collaboration with key stakeholders such as our InfoSec Manager and Legal Council to ensure Clue processes and best practice in line with business requirements

  • To oversee and manage the IT operational activities, ensuring systems are secure, operational, and up-to-date.

  • Lead IT projects from inception to completion, aligning them with business goals and ensuring they deliver value. Drive innovation in IT practices, contributing to the long-term efficiency and scalability of our IT infrastructure

  • Successfully onboarding all new employees by setting up and managing all necessary systems and hardware to ensure prompt productivity

  • Any hardware or systems and infrastructure issues are resolved efficiently for in office operations and remote employees

  • Positive feedback from internal stakeholders on IT support and services

    We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive IT Operations Manager [AU1] to oversee our IT provision. In this role, your expertise will not only ensure the smooth running of our hardware and systems, but you will also strive for continuous improvement across our infrastructure, supporting Clue's scalability and success. You will supervise the implementation and maintenance of our company's computing needs in line with policies, ensuring everyone at Clue is supported effectively., Our ideal candidate would have experience in the following areas:

  • Demonstrable experience in managing complex IT operations, with a strong emphasis on IT Support,

  • Infrastructure and vendor management
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar position, ideally within a SaaS or technology-centred environment

  • + A track record of enhancing IT service delivery, managing change portfolios, and upholding IT security protocols such as ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials
  • Ability to translate IT capabilities into strategic business advantages

  • Commitment to innovation, best practices, and maintaining high standards of compliance and security

  • Experience of workloads of both on-premise data centres and Azure

  • Strong IT hardware and software skills from setup to configuration and management

  • Excellent understanding of Data Protection and GDPR

  • Problem solver with willingness to take ownership of issues to resolve

  • Excellent writing and documentation skills

  • High attention to detail Strong organisational and planning skills
