At our proper pub sites we pride ourselves on providing a proper home for live sport, serving a proper pint and consistently offering proper pub food. We aim to create a proper, traditional pub atmosphere for our guests. Proper pubs are transparent and simple. What you see is what you get in every venue. The Walnut Tree in Heworth, York has something to accommodate everyone. Its a very welcoming place where our guests will be met with warmth and that well known Yorkshire hospitality. The Menu is very much the same, traditional and soulful. The great location of this bar makes it easy to reach even in rush hour!

We are looking for an experienced Kitchen Manager or an experienced Kitchen Team Leader who is ready to take their next step.,

  • The ability to support, coach, and mentor your team

  • A high standard of food knowledge and skill

  • An up-to-date COSHH, Food Safety, H&S, legal knowledge

  • A willingness to develop on a personal level whilst also propelling the brigade forward
