Brentwood Communication are looking to recruit an experienced Learning & Development Manager looking for a temporary opportunity to make a significant impact.

Join our team as a Learning & Development Manager (Maternity Leave Cover) and play a pivotal role in continuing the delivery of high-quality training programs tailored to meet the needs of our team, ensuring continuity and excellence in our learning initiatives.

We currently employ 75 people in the business and have recently started using a new HR & LMS system- CIPHR and want to maintain the momentum of this system.,

  • Course Development: Utilize your expertise to seamlessly continue the conceptualization, design, and development of interactive e-learning courses that align with organizational goals and objectives.

  • Running Company Induction programme and other internal courses: Run our induction programme for our new starters to help them in their early days in the business, also using our onboarding platform. Assist with other internal courses as required.

  • Content Creation: Maintain the momentum of crafting engaging and informative training materials, including presentations, videos, quizzes, and interactive modules, to enhance the learning experience.

  • Project Management: Take ownership of the ongoing development process of e-learning courses, ensuring seamless progress and timely delivery within budget constraints.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with existing subject matter experts, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to maintain continuity, gather input, review content, and incorporate feedback into course materials.

  • Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough quality checks to uphold the standards of accuracy, relevance, and adherence to industry standards and best practices throughout the maternity leave period.

    Proven experience as a Learning & Development Manager or similar role, with a track record of developing successful e-learning courses.

  • Proficiency in instructional design methodologies, e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate), and learning management systems (LMS)- Essential

  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and concisely.

  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to seamlessly transition and maintain progress, meet deadlines, and manage resources effectively.

  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to seamlessly integrate into a team-based environment to continue ongoing projects.

  • A passion for continuous learning and staying updated on emerging trends and technologies in training and development.
