Management Accountant

We are looking for a proactive, self-motivated Accountant to cover a period of maternity leave and work as a key member of a strong, committed team delivering financial support to both the Digital Education Service and Online Learning. Your role will require a professional approach to support your stakeholders with the submission of integrated plans and forecasts, and all associated financial management. You will be CCAB (CA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA) qualified/part-qualified or be qualified by substantial experience in a financial environment including the preparation of and monitoring against financial plans. You will also bring with you experience of producing financial management information for non-finance professionals.
Digital Education is at the forefront of the University's agenda. The service is rapidly expanding and it is an extremely exciting time for the right candidate to come onboard. As well as providing financial monitoring support you will be involved in developing new systems and reporting procedures. This vacancy is within the Management Accounting Finance team. In this role you will report directly to the Finance Business Partner - Online Learning but will also work closely with other financial and management accounting colleagues and other non-finance professionals from across the University.
