Full Job Description

Material Sourcing Specialist role is to effectively source and procure materials in alignment with the company's objectives, while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, managing costs, analysing market trends, and ensuring compliance with regulations and ethical standards. The specialist also proactively identifies and sources materials to fulfil operational requirements and contribute to the company's success.

You will:

  • Develop and manage the sales pipeline, ensuring proper allocation of resources to support growth.

  • Monitor financial performance, analyse financial reports, and identify opportunities for sales optimisation and revenue growth.

  • Implement strategies to improve profitability and meet financial targets.

  • Identify potential business opportunities, develop strategic plans, and implement initiatives to expand the customer base.

  • Formulate effective pricing strategies and negotiate contracts with customers.

  • Foster relationships with key stakeholders, industry partners, and regulatory agencies to enhance business operations and market presence.

  • Monitor the competitive landscape and develop strategies to maintain a competitive edge.

  • Effectively deliver and promote succinct business related messages and strategies to future customers.

    2 or more A Levels or a related field (Desirable)

  • Proven experience in sales and business development within the recycling industry.

  • Strong leadership and management skills, with prior experience in overseeing a sales team.

  • Additional certifications or training in sales, leadership, or supply chain management.

  • Knowledge of G Suite (Gmail, Sheets, Docs)
