Full Job Description

  • Preparing various 3d printing parts to be sprayed

  • Carrying out spraying of printed parts to a high standard

  • Polishing / sanding to remove defects from the prints

  • Working with the 3d technician team to support preparing and printing of parts

  • Inspecting finishing parts prior to shipment to the customer

    Photocentric Ltd based in Peterborough and the US is an award-winning manufacturer of 3D printers, resins and craft products. We are seeking an experienced Paint Sprayer / Prep Paint Technician to produce 3D printed parts for industry based in our brand new facility in Peterborough with a newly installed full size spray booth. This is an exciting opportunity for a talentedPaint Sprayer or Prep Paint Technician from either a car spray or industrial spray background who has exceptional attention to detail looking to work flexible hours, ideally 10 to 25 hours per week, hours and days are flexible to suit., Previous experience as a Spray Painter in a professional workshop environment ideally in an engineering / factory background.

  • Could suit a car sprayer/ body shop from the automotive background

  • An outstanding attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.

  • A perfectionist with a natural creative flair

  • Confident to be able to take ownership of all sprayed finished parts

  • Good understanding on how to work and assist with the maintenance of the spray booth, Industrial Painting: 2 years (required)
