PCB Inspector - Full Time

The PCB Inspector will be required to visually inspect PCB's to ensure that they meet quality standards.

Duties/tasks will include;

• Inspect PCBs to IPC-A-610, class 3 to ensure quality of product using the latest magnification equipment & AOI and XRay


• Liaise with Production


• Assist and support Production Technicians by discussing faults and findings to include Internal Training of the Team


• Manage and resolve inspection queries and raising NCR's as applicable


• Completing all NCR paperwork


• Monitor build, quality and report quality issues as necessary.


• Action rework as necessary
  
  Understand component identification codes such as resistors, capacitors and ICs


• Able to interpret engineering drawings and bills of materials (BOM)


• Previous inspection and assembly experience to IPC-A-610 class 2 minimum desirable


• Attention to detail and accuracy


• Ability to concentrate for extended periods of time on repetitive tasks


• Able to work effectively to deadlines


• Demonstrates proactive approach


• Good communication skills


• Dexterity, Good Hand and Eye coordination, GCSE or equivalent (preferred)


Experience:

• PCB ASSEMBLY: 2 years (preferred)


Language:

• English (required)
