Full Job Description

We have big aspirations. Our 'North Star' is 'To be the most successful insurance disruptor people want to stay with for life'. As we grow, we plan on continuing to challenge the norms of an insurance industry whose reputation for customer trust is low, where switching between providers is high and insurance cover is often seen as a costly 'grudge purchase'.
We aim to build longer and deeper relationships with our customers and to help them see insurance as being a help, not a hindrance.

The role and what you'll be doing:
Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Managing the People Experience mailbox, escalating where required.

  • Providing administrative support to the People Experience Advisor.

  • Owning the new joiner process for London including:

  • o Processing personal information and updating our (Natural HR) NHR system.
o Acting as a main contact from the point new joiners receive an offer of employment.
o Obtaining the relevant documentation to onboard colleagues compliantly.
  • Processing internal moves, promotions, job changes, and other administration.

  • Creating letters and employee documents as well as filing general changes in personnel.

  • Processing and supporting leavers of the business, ensuring all the relevant leaver information is correct and the leaver receives the relevant documentation.

  • Supporting all colleagues with the NHR site, providing coaching on NHR's functionality where required.

  • Owning our baseline People Experience metrics and data to track and report to the Management Team on themes such as (but not limited to):

  • o Absence data
    o AWOL records
    o Maternity/Paternity records
    o Holiday balances
  • Conducting regular NHR audits, including checking we have the correct emergency contact details for colleagues, ensuring all outstanding forms are completed and there are no outstanding workflows.

  • Supporting Finance, Payroll and People Experience with any internal and external audits relating to People Experience information.

  • Organising and arranging the office events such as Lunch and Learns and the organisation of our key well-being events.

  • Providing support for general colleagues' needs in the office and escalating any people issues to the People Experience Advisor.

  • You will support with:
  • Assisting the Talent Acquisition team and liaising with new starters' needs and induction.

  • Assisting with the creation of internal communications for People Experience, with the support of the People Experience Advisor.

  • Supporting in ad-hoc activities for continuous improvements, processes, or procedures.

Previous experience in a People Team administration role is desirable and at least a passion for supporting people in a confidential and trustworthy manner.

  • Exceptional IT skills specifically, MS Excel (pivot tables, formula) and PowerPoint

  • Exceptional professional standards and ability to apply discretion and maintain confidentiality in dealings with all HR matters.

  • Excellent organisational skills.

  • A team player with a 'can do' attitude, personable and flexible.

  • Demonstrates a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Uses judgement as to when to ask for help and guidance.

  • Innovative: Seeks out ways over, around, or through barriers to success.

  • Collaborative: Enjoys working one-on-one and in a team. Fluent, sharp-witted, command of language. Keeps people informed, which totally confidential.

  • Supportive: Values relationships and open dialogue to better understand the challenges faced by customers. Focuses on the customer, rather than the product being sold.

  • Dynamic: Comprehends the big picture and sees challenges as opportunities.
