Plant Hire Manager

You will manage and oversee hire orders with suppliers ensuring a high standard of customer service is achieved to both clients and customers. You will be required to deal with and oversee the initial inquiry stage through to quotation, follow up, processing of the hire orders (using our unique software system) and arranging transport to and from our customers sites. The Plant Hire Manager will work closely with the Depot Transport and service managers to ensure that the companies goals are met for every hire.

• Background in plant / transport (desirable)


• Previous managerial experience role


• Able to work Independently and as part of a team


• Methodical and organised


• Experienced in purchasing


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills


• Friendly disposition with a team orientated approach


• Experienced in managing a small team of up to 10 staff


• Full driving licence


• IT literate (Microsoft office products)


• Experience in customer service, GCSE or equivalent (preferred)


Experience:

• Management: 1 year (preferred)


Licence/Certification:
