Production Operative (Cold Roll Forming)

Production:

• The trainee must show a commitment and willingness to learn.


• To understand the basic operation of a production machine.


• To understanding rolling targets and how to achieve the required efficiency level.


• Ensuring scrap levels are kept to a minimum.


• Perform other duties as required by the Production Supervisor.


Quality Control:

• To ensure all paperwork is filled in correctly and up to date.


• To highlight any defects that may have been caused to the Production Supervisor.


• To adhere to all company health and safety rules and policies.


Safety:

• Ensure that all safety precautions are strictly adhered.


• To advise the Supervisor of any improvements or health and safety issues within the production area.
  
  As a Section Rolling Machine Operator you must show a keen willingness to learn, and perform all tasks that are asked of you from the Production Supervisor. No previous experience using a machine is required as full training will be given in house. Experience in a hands-on role/factory environment would be beneficial., Manual handling: 1 year (required)
