Production Technician

This is a full time position, working from 06:00 - 14:00, Monday to Friday, with a half an hour unpaid break each day and two fifteen minute paid breaks. The main requirement of the role will be working as part of a team responsible for accurately pouring, checking, labelling and wrapping our bottled products. As well as this, you will be responsible for updating data on our ERP system, which enables traceability of our products.

Cherwell Laboratories manufactures pre-poured agar plates and bottled products within a Clean Room Suite. This area is strictly controlled by procedures with all operators wearing coveralls, hats and overshoes, plus gloves where necessary.

A "Just in Time" batch production system is employed producing a wide variety of products. Storage of the manufactured product, order picking, inspection and pre-packing all takes place within the Clean Room Suite.

The Production Team is responsible for all aspects of the production process. Production Technicians will usually work in one area of the Clean Room which is split into Bottles & Support, Aseptic Fill and Plate Packing areas.
