Full Job Description

In the role of Property Estates Surveyor you will be responsible for a number of tasks including:

  • Overseeing day to day estate management matters on freehold and leasehold industrial and commercial property

  • Negotiating lease renewals and rent reviews with landlords and their agents to achieve the best possible return

  • Optimising rental income generated by Tarmac's Land Portfolio

  • Budgeting, forecasting and approving property related costs including rent, rates, service charges and maintenance.

  • Instructing and managing external consultants and agents

    • We are currently looking for a Property Estates Surveyor to join our team. The department head office is based at Quorn House, near Loughborough, however we can offer a range of office locations throughout the UK and we offer a hybrid working model. The successful candidate will be able to work within a team and under own initiative working remotely., To be successful in the role of Property Estates Surveyor you will have proven knowledge and experience of:
  • Industrial and commercial property ownership and occupation in the UK, including landlord and tenant legislation

  • Industrial and commercial property market agency in the UK

  • Negotiation of rent reviews, lease renewals and general estate management matters

  • Town and country planning law, policy and practice
