Full Job Description

As a Licensing Manager, you will be an integral part of our team responsible for managing all types of licensing applications, ensuring adherence to regulations, and maximising revenue through cross-selling ancillary services. You will liaise with and support the front-end branch networks and property management teams nationally. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, a commercial mindset, and a track record of success in the property sector.,

  • Manage the end-to-end process of licensing applications, from initial inquiry to approval.

  • Liaise with branches and property management to lead on applications

  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations governing HMO, additional, and selective licensing.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with landlords, providing expert guidance and support throughout the licensing process.

  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell ancillary services and drive revenue growth.

  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to streamline processes and enhance service delivery.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, changes in legislation, and best practices to continuously improve departmental operations

    Minimum of 2 years of experience in the property sector, preferably in property management or licensing.

  • Proven track record of success in a similar role, demonstrating strong attention to detail and commercial acumen.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations governing licensing in the Lettings Market in England and Wales.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
