Full Job Description

Our New Birmingham store is recruiting for a full-time retail customer service assistant.

Scottsdale Golf continues to be the custom fitting industry leader, offering our unique FIT.BUILD.PLAY service, enabling our customers to take home their customised golf clubs on the same day. Our Birmingham store will offer both the FIT.BUILD.PLAY service and a fully equipped golf retail experience, providing golfers with all their golfing needs.

We are looking to recruit experienced retail staff who are comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment. Your primary focus is giving our customers the wow factor, every single day.

Daily responsibilities will include:

  • Welcoming every customer into store and assisting their individual golfing needs, whether that be a new driver or a new outfit for the course.

  • Always maintaining store standards, using initiative whilst following company instruction.

  • Supporting the management and fitting teams in providing amazing experiences to our customers.

  • Deliver the company's core principle of "obsessing over our customer's needs.

  • Maximising your individual performance and sales opportunities.

  • Work in alliance with all sectors of the business & assist with all Scottsdale customers, across the company.

  • Take ownership of personal development and attend monthly meetings with the Line manager to discuss future learnings.

  • Follow all company policies and procedures.

  • Working hours will be over 5 days, working a rota basis with colleagues, therefore applicants need to be able to work flexibly between 9am and 7pm Monday-Friday and, 9am to 5pm Saturday-Sunday.

    Qualifications:

    · Retail: 3 years (Preferred but not essential)

    The role will involve other essential tasks necessary within a unique, busy golf retail facility including, but not limited to:

    · Customer service administration

    · The ability to use your own initiative to explore further development opportunities for yourself and for the business.
