Job Specification Sales

  • Supporting and liaising with the Sales Office Manager distributors UK & Export Sales Managers for quotations and sales Providing quotations, processing orders, raising sales invoices and credit notes through our Efacs (ERP) computer system Expediting goods through various freight companies and providing appropriate documentation, including liaison with Sales Office Manager regarding suitable collection times Preparing documents for payment by Bank Collections and Letters of Credit Liaising with customer as necessary on prices, delivery schedules and amendments To cover in sales office (Export & UK), filing and various ad hoc duties where necessary To actively support at all times, company policy and best practice in the area of security with particular emphasis on the protection on sensitive customer and company information Adhere to all internal processes and procedures for the department To work closely with all internal departments in

    order to build and retain effective long-term relationships Provide cover for other team members Logistics Compile delivery Schedule for UK drivers, update relevant database's as required Adjust schedules as required Liaise with customers expected delivery times Liaise with production and despatch regarding loading of orders Calculate packing space and costs for export delivery Liaise with freight forwarders/customers, book containers & trailers as appropriate Follow up trailer and container arrival if required Issue clearance/customs/despatch documents as required copy of Job Description - Sales Logistics Co-ordinator v1Page 2 of 2 Criteria- Essential Understanding of and ability to complete all necessary documentation for export of goods worldwide, including Certificates of Origin, EUR1, invoices, packing list.. Good knowledge of the geography of the United Kingdom. High level of numerical ability Fully computer

Knowledge of UK Transport & Logistic Laws Person Specification The job requires someone who has excellent customer service skills and telephone Manner, great communication skills, very pro-active and at least intermediate level computer literacy in the windows environment and MS Office. It is essential that they have customer service experience and/or previous sales office experience. A Pleasant and helpful manner is essential in dealing with the occasional demanding customers.
