Full Job Description

An opportunity has arisen to join our hardworking catering team to assist in providing, managing, and developing a high-quality catering service to approximately 60 residents, guests, and visitors of St Johns House residential care home in Norwich.,

  • Assisting in the preparation, cooking and attractive presentation of all meals.

  • Create nutritious, well-balanced dishes using fresh, high quality and seasonal produce.

  • Create menus that meet all dietary requirements in consultation with residents, relatives, and staff.

  • Ensure the smooth transfer of supplies, goods and equipment between storage and work areas.

  • Keep stock secure at all times and avoid unnecessary wastage and deterioration of foodstuffs.

  • Ensure the safe operation of all kitchen equipment

  • Maintain good working relationships with all colleagues, residents, and visitors always.

  • Provide regular interaction with residents to gain feedback regarding the food service.

    Chef: 2 years (preferred)

    £14 an hour - Permanent, Full-time, Pulled from the full job description
