Full Job Description

Pucklechurch Primary is a wonderful village school between Bristol and Bath. The governors are looking to appoint a dynamic teaching assistant to work in Year 2. The successful applicant must be able to use their initiative, in teaching and supporting children with special educational needs. Support will be needed in the context of the classroom, small groups and 1:1., Visits to the school are encouraged and welcomed, please contact the school SENCO, Gemma Jones, to arrange a visit.

Hours: 19 hours per week, term time only. Wednesday to Friday, 8:40am - 3:15pm.

Salary: Hay 9 (£12,073 - £13,152 per annum).

Please note, this is a temporary post to support a child with EHCP funding that will come to an end when the funding ceases, or the child leaves the school.
