Full Job Description

We Make Footballers are a rapidly expanding football coaching provider who deliver weekly session to over 8,000 children across the UK. We are on the look out for an enthusiastic and experienced Senior Coach to join our Tamworth & Lichfield Academy, who can help players become the best they can be by developing them individually and mastering the football fundamentals.

Our weekly sessions currently run on Monday and Wednesday evenings between 5pm - 7pm, with further weekly sessions to add this year. There will also be adhoc weekend sessions available (c10-15 weekends per year) as well as football camps during the school holidays (6 hours/day, 3-5 days/week)

Responsibilities:
- Lead effective training sessions for children aged between 4-12 years old
- Teach fundamental skills, strategies, and techniques to improve player development
- Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that promotes sportsmanship, discipline, and respect
- Collaborate with other coaches and staff members to coordinate team activities and ensure a cohesive program, Our internal coaching development portal is available to all coaches at We Make Footballers, with courses designed to develop Assistant Coaches all the way through to Academy Managers, meaning we can offer exciting career development opportunities. As a Football Coach, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young footballers. You will play a crucial role in their development both as football players and as individuals.

Ability to communicate effectively to children between the ages of 4-12

- Previous experience as a football coach, head/senior coach position desired but not essential

- FA coaching badges desired but not essential, other coaching qualifications will be considered

- Excellent leadership skills,

  • Sports coaching: 2 years (preferred)

    Job Types: Part-time, Freelance, Zero hours contract


  • Pay: £15.00 per hour

    Expected hours: 2 - 30 per week
