Full Job Description

Two exciting opportunities have arisen to join the Connect Health Family in two of our services as a Senior MSK Physiotherapist on a permanent basis. These opportunities are either based in the Northumberland or North Tyneside area.

You'll be joining the wonderful Hannah Pell (Operations Manager) and Nick Lividas (Clinical Delivery Lead) and their team in delivering first class services in partnership with the local NHS trusts.

Our service is a large fully integrated MSK and Pain service that provides a single point of access for NHS patients and enables a seamless, efficient MSK patient journey. As part of our integrated community pathway we deliver Community Physiotherapy, Physioline, group and gym-based rehabilitation, intermediate CATS services and Pain services.

You will be part of a large, dynamic multidisciplinary team which includes MSK Physiotherapists, Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioners and Rehabilitation Therapists. The integrated service design allows clinicians to work together to deliver seamless and evidence-based care for patients and enables inter-disciplinary learning.

This role will require some evening and saturday working in the future on a minimal and rotad basis.

You'll be positive, constructive and approachable, along with being registered with the HCPC, and a fully qualified Physiotherapist. We're looking for you to manage a varied case load of MSK patients, as well as the ability to work under pressure and being committed to CPD.

You should have the desire to facilitate improvement in yourself and the service. You will have excellent and confident communication skills with both patients and colleagues a like. You may have experience of working within the NHS, Public or Private Sector, bringing transferrable skills to Connect.

You'll be positive, constructive and approachable and carry out tasks with fairness and integrity at all times; along with being well organised, conscientious and capable of working collaboratively with the Physiotherapy Team.

The majority of clinical diaries and patient notes are administered electronically and as such you'll have good IT skills and be willing to embrace innovation and technological advances that improve service delivery.
