Full Job Description

  • Improvement, general maintenance and to cleanliness of the school buildings and grounds

  • Locking and unlocking the school buildings ensuring the security of our site with key holding

  • To ensure appropriate training and development programs are in place for all the premises staff

  • Ensuring the compliance of the school premises through regular routine and scheduled maintenance of the Site

    An exciting opportunity has arisen at The Meadows for a Site Manager. We are looking to recruit a committed and self-motivated individual who is experienced in managing and maintaining the school premises to a high standard. You will be an important member of our school team and will have a positive approach to this key role.


  • You will have a good knowledge of Health and Safety with the ability to line manage the Site Team including cleaners.

  • Be a team player who is friendly and professional, relating well to staff and students

  • Be responsible, flexible and reliable

  • Demonstrate best practice in the management of the school premises

  • Able to use ICT systems and Microsoft packages, This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role

    The Meadows School is an extended Sixth Form Day School. We provide education for students from the ages of 9 to 19 across the local authority. We cater for 215 students who have severe and complex special educational needs; many also have additional physical, medical and communication difficulties, including autism.
