Full Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Solar Installer specializing in electrical installations to join our dynamic team. This role involves the hands-on installation of solar batteries, inverters, and associated wiring. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for creating schematic drawings and managing related paperwork, ensuring that all installations are completed to the highest standards and in compliance with local codes and regulations., Install, maintain, and repair solar panels, batteries, inverters, and other electrical components of solar systems.
- Conduct electrical wiring of solar arrays/systems and ensure that installations are properly grounded.
- Create accurate schematic drawings for solar electrical systems.
- Complete job-related paperwork and documentation, including system layout, project specs, and safety checks.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations concerning safety and installation of solar panels and electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to solar installations.
- Provide exceptional service and guidance to customers on the operation and maintenance of their solar systems.
- Continuously update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and participating in professional organizations.

Proven experience as an electrician or electrical installer, preferably in the solar industry.
- Strong understanding of electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals.
- Proficiency in using electrical and hand tools to install and configure solar systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant certifications (MCS solar & battery course) are highly preferred.
